Location & Remote Work

Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

About the Team

To transform QuintoAndar into an Agentic Organization, we are building an AI-Native Developer Platform. Our mission is to move beyond individual AI assistants toward an ecosystem where autonomous agents understand our company, our codebase, and our workflows.

As a Staff Software Engineer on the AI Developer Experience team, you will own the technical vision for the AI infrastructure that powers developer workflows. You will define how AI interacts with our broader Internal Developer Platform, set the quality bar for AI-generated code, and build the systems that enable our 650+ Engineers to work with AI as a first-class collaborator.

What you will do

  • Build a platform that gives AI systems structured access to our codebases, services, architecture, and operational data.
  • Design the infrastructure for AI agents that can investigate failures, propose fixes, generate tests, and automate maintenance.
  • Shape how AI integrates into developer workflows: code review, debugging, documentation, and internal assistants.
  • Define standards and best practices for AI-assisted engineering across the organization.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI models and tools, balancing cost, latency, and quality.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • A track record of building developer tools (our stack is primarily Go).
  • Deep experience in leading complex platform or infrastructure projects.
  • Solid understanding of GenAI/LLM integration, RAG, MCP and the infrastructure required to support AI coding agents at scale.
  • A product mindset, treating internal platforms as products and engineers as your customers.
  • Excellent English and Portuguese communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will stand out if you have:

  • Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and building AI connectors.
  • Experience with Durable Execution frameworks (like Temporal) for agent orchestration.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, observability, or safety frameworks.
  • History of driving technical initiatives across multiple teams.
