Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Use different object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable backend applications in a cloud-based microservice architecture. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Design APIs and Microservices using Java and Kotlin to support lending business logics. Come up with solutions to increase the efficiency and security of cloud systems utilizing AWS. Implement database schemas for storing and distributing data. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from SoFi offices in Seattle, WA.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Kotlin; (3) Microservices; (4) Spring Boot; (5) AWS; (6) Airflow; (7) Zookeeper; (8) Flutter; (9) Terraform; (10) Python; (11) Distributed Systems; (12) gRPC or Protobuf or RPC Framework; and (13) Postgres and MySQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from SoFi offices in Seattle, WA.
Salary: $176,000.00 - $193,600.00 per annum & standard company benefits.
