We help companies thrive in the new AI-first era of business. Founded in 2005, Box simplifies work for leading global organizations, including JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Nationwide. Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

By joining Box, you will have the unique opportunity to continue driving our platform forward. Content powers how we work. It’s the billions of files and information flowing across teams, departments, and key business processes every single day: contracts, invoices, employee records, financials, product specs, marketing assets, and more. Our mission is to bring intelligence to the world of content management and empower our customers to completely transform workflows across their organizations. With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift.

WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box is building market-leading agentic workflow automation and intelligent content experiences. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is AI-first to drive the next generation of Box Automate, with a specific focus on outbound product strategy, customer adoption, and GTM enablement.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced AI capabilities (such as agentic workflows, LLMs, and metadata extraction) and real-world business automation. Based in our Redwood City headquarters, you will represent the voice of the customer, partner closely with sales and post-sales to scale adoption, and collaborate with engineering and design to deliver high-impact, intelligent workflow solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Define the outbound product strategy and roadmap for Box Automate opportunities to drive customer adoption and enable GTM success across sales, SEs, and post-sales.
  • Partner closely with Box customers to understand their use cases, workflows, and pain points; translate these insights into prioritized requirements for intelligent, content-centric workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define, iterate, and deliver end-user experiences that leverage AI, agentic workflows, and metadata extraction to automate business processes.
  • Create enablement assets (positioning, value narratives, competitive insights) and support active deals as the workflow product expert.
  • Align senior stakeholders and field teams by triaging requests, setting focus, and communicating clear trade-offs and impact.
  • Measure results and iterate on features with a keen eye towards driving metrics that matter (which you will define and own).
  • Shape the broader messaging in the market and help enable sales and customer success to deliver on goals.
  • Champion evaluation frameworks and best practices that build trust in AI-driven automation and workflows.

WHO YOU ARE

We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with experience building products from conception through launch.
  • 2+ years preparing and presenting product strategy and roadmaps to senior executives.
  • Experience building low-code workflow platforms or content-centric workflow automation tools.
  • Proven outbound PM experience: customer-facing, GTM enablement, and deal support with clear adoption outcomes.
  • Strong technical fluency to partner with engineering on AI/LLM capabilities, constraints, and agentic workflows.
  • Track record of navigating senior stakeholders and prioritizing effectively in ambiguous, high-impact spaces.
  • Customer-obsessed communicator who can synthesize feedback into crisp product decisions and clear narratives.
  • Experience as a product owner; leading and launching products.
  • Capable of leading and motivating a team of engineers in a challenging, dynamic, and global environment.
