By using The Code Deck you agree to these terms. The Code Deck is operated by Ebrahim Touray, trading as The Code Deck. If you have any questions, contact contact@thecodedeck.dev.
The Code Deck (thecodedeck.dev) is a job board and career toolkit for software engineers. We aggregate job listings from third-party sources including company career pages and job aggregators. We also provide AI-powered career tools as part of a paid subscription.
We do not act as a recruiter or employment agency. Job listings link directly to the employer's own careers page. We are not party to any employment relationship between a job seeker and an employer.
You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. By using The Code Deck, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You can create an account by signing in with Google. By doing so, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.
Job listings on The Code Deck are aggregated automatically from third-party sources. We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Listings may be out of date, inaccurate, or no longer available.
We make reasonable efforts to remove expired listings within 24 hours of a role being filled, but we make no guarantee that all listings are current. Always verify a role is still open before applying.
The Code Deck is not responsible for the content of job listings, the behaviour of employers, or the outcome of any application you make.
Employers may pay to feature job listings at the top of relevant searches. Featured listings are clearly marked. Payments are processed via Stripe and are non-refundable once a listing has gone live, except where required by law.
We reserve the right to remove any featured listing that is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these terms, without refund.
The Pro subscription (currently £7.99/month) gives access to additional Career Toolkit features including AI-powered tools and job alerts.
The Career Toolkit uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate cover letters, CV suggestions, interview answers, and other career content. This content is generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI-generated output for any particular purpose.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional careers advice, legal advice, or any other regulated advice.
You must not:
The Code Deck's design, branding, original content, and software are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
Job listing content is owned by the respective employers. AI-generated content produced by the Career Toolkit is yours to use as you see fit, subject to Anthropic's usage policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Code Deck is not liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
