Engineering at Waymo spans perception, prediction, motion planning, simulation, mapping, and the infrastructure to support millions of miles of real-world and simulated driving. The tech stack includes C++, Python, TensorFlow, and large-scale distributed systems for training and deploying ML models. Engineers work on some of the hardest problems in applied machine learning and robotics, with tight feedback loops between simulation and real-world deployment.
